What do you think of Revelations in the Bible?

Formerly, a Catholic, I am attending a Bible Study group and we are studying Revelations. It has frightened me and I feel as though there is absolutely no way to make it to heaven if what I am reading is factual. Please, does anyone have any opinions about this subject?
