What do you do if you are being chased?

If you were abotu 2 blocks away from your house and you were on your own in the middle of the night by a middleaged chubby man who was pretty fast. As thats what happend tome and im petrified its gonna happen again so i need to know what should i do. icould hardly outrun him.
