Question about the veto that is about to happen with the spending Bill that was just ped.?

Good question...the president will veto it (grrrrr...), the problem is that they don't have enough votes to override the veto. There are other avenues to go to end this war, but many are unprecedented and may look bad to the American people. They hold the power of the purse, so they can hold out on all the money, but our troops will suffer...nobody wants that. The Senate could also declare "cloture" which could help strenghten their majority position. That would make this VERY interesting.
