My Camellia tree seems to be dying - help!?

Hi, I live in London, and have a beautiful pink Camellia tree in a small sheltered north-facing garden in a raised bed. I have lived in the flat ten years, and it was well established when I arrived. It is about 2m high. Since I moved in, it has flowered every year, and grown and looked very healthy. In 2008, I bought a bag of camellia fertiliser and dug it in the soil. Over this winter (2009/10) it produced more buds than I have ever seen before. I was expecting a huge spring of flowers. However, in the last couple of months, the buds have been falling off unopened. leaves are turning brown and falling off. All I could think of was that we had a long and cold winter in the UK this year. I have read some advice online, and checked for spiders under the leaves, and found none. In the last week I have also loosened up the soil around it in case of root rot. I am thinking of now digging a trench next to it to increase drainage, and maybe digging a lot of soil from around it and replacing it with camellia fertilizer. Having said that, the tree thrived for a decade without any intervention, so I cant see how it can be a soil problem. I would appreciate any advice you have. It is such a beautiful tree, and I want to do anything I can to save it. thanks. Chris

On the weekend We had fruit salad and burgers, My grandson Jared kept the melon seeds to plant, when he ate his burger he kept the sesame seeds from the burger bun, he said he wanted to grow a burger tree, what did you believe when you were little? I've asked a similar question before and I loved the answers.

I liked War of the Worlds too, as well as the mist. I still dont know why so many people think they are bad movies. I think the best horror movies involve global events. The horror movie where only 7 or 8 people are the only one in danger, and the only ones who know whats happening, are just freaking lame. Thats why I will be the first person in line this friday to see "I Am Legend"

WTF happened to Halle Berry, Hilary Swank,Sean Penn, Jamie Foxx, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker, Reese Witherspoon. It turned Sandra Bullocks world upside down, Heath Ledger suffered a drug related demise. Ppl who win are either facing some kind of problem or cant do another decent movie lately.

Daughter on new inhaler?

my 4 year old is asthmatic is on 3 puffs of brown inhaler 50mg And singular granules 4mg at night but at new year she was really ill with her asthma plus she had a chest infection she had to go on steroid tabs and antibiotics she was on the steroid tabs for 6 days and the antibiotics for 7days she has now got over this but because im having to give her the blue inhaler every 4 hours without hardly any effect my gp put my daughter on a green inhaler which is a longer acting reliever she has been on this since Friday and is still coughing at night i spoke to my daughters health visitor as i wondered if i cud up it 2 2 puffs morning and night as im not seeing any improvement in my daughters symptoms and it says on the leaflet that came with the inhaler children 4 years and over 2 puffs twice a day this inhaler comes in 2 strength 25mg and 50mg so even if i upped it she would be on 100mg she also has caught a cold so that wont help should i talk to my doctor about upping it as my daughter doesn't see her respiratory specialist till next month am also asthmatic so i know how inhalers work

What's with statistics?

We are bombarded with statistics in the news and in sports and in gambling (probability). And yet, few people ever take a statistics course in school. My high school did not offer a course in statistics. Maybe things have changed. Any comments on this problem?
